IMPORTANT INFO ON SUN OUTAGES Twice each year, the sun is positioned directly in line with the ground-based satellite dish antennas used to receive CATV programming.
When the HITS Quantum digital signal is interrupted by the sun’s energy, the set top converter displays “One Moment Please” on the affected channel(s). This condition will be present for several minutes each day during the sun outage period, which lasts for several days.

Programming the remote for a DSR 470
- Turn on the TV for programming
- Press the TV button for at least three seconds or until the LED blinks
- The next steps will show you how to scan through the TV Codes stored in your remote control using the up and down Channel button. The LED will not be lit while the Channel up and down button are pressed.
- While pointing the remote control at your TV press the ^ arrow key to scan to the next code.
- If the transmitted code is the correct one, your TV WILL SHUT OFF, responding as if its power key is pressed. This may take several minutes to do since there a lot of codes programmed into the remote.
- Once your TV Shuts off and you have the correct code press the ENTER button. This will store the manufacturer's code in the remote. The LED will then flash rapidly several times and turn off.
